Welcome to the website of the Cognitive Neuroecology Lab.
We are a research group based at the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging at the University of Oxford and also partly at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour at the Radboud University Nijmegen. We are interested in how different species' brains are organized and how this contributes to the species' behavioral repertoires. To this end, we develop and apply methods for quantitative comparison of brain organization across species. We study brain diversity both to understand brain evolution and to help improve translational neuroscience. The human brain is, of course, a case that we particularly interested in.
